The International Journal of Geriatric Orthopedics (IJGO) is dedicated to advancing clinically relevant orthopedic research and education advancing clinically relevant orthopedic research and education. The International Journal of Geriatric Orthopedics (IJGO) is a peer-reviewed, triannual scientific journal dedicated to advancing knowledge and research in the field of geriatric musculoskeletal health and orthopedic care. It serves as the official publication of the Geriatric Orthopedic Society Of India (GOSI), reflecting the Society’s commitment to promoting excellence in clinical practice, research, and education for the ageing population.
IJGO provides a multidisciplinary platform for orthopedic surgeons, geriatricians, physiatrists, rehabilitation specialists, physiotherapists, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals involved in the comprehensive care of older adults. The journal encourages collaboration between diverse disciplines to improve understanding, prevention, and management of musculoskeletal disorders among the elderly.
The scope of IJGO includes, but is not limited to:
- Osteoporosis and fragility fractures
- Degenerative joint and spine disorders
